The Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a non-invasive method used in geophysics to investigate the most superficial part of the subsoil. The technique is based on the analysis of electromagnetic wave reflections transmitted to the ground. This method provides, from a depth of some meters up to the limit of some tens of meters, a “section” of the ground analysed by the surface. It is commonly used for sub-services and archeology research.
